At Northside, there are things that we value and are important to us as a family. Most of our time is spent doing these things. If you visit us or spend any time with us, you’ll quickly be able to identify us by these values. We hope that they are a blessing to you, as much as they have been to us.
RELATIONSHIPS – We seek to grow closer to each other in a family like atmosphere, to know your needs and challenges, and to be available to walk through the seasons of life with you.
SINGING – We love to sing in our worship times. Through acappella singing, we balance old songs and new songs to bless God and encourage each other with all of their richness.
BIBLE STUDY – We provide multiple weekly opportunities to dig deep into the inspired word of God. We share goals of knowing what God is saying, what His life giving words mean, and how it applies to our daily lives.
HOSPITALITY – We pursue a welcoming attitude and friendly atmosphere so that each person feels loved. We want to create a sense of belonging to every person that walks into our building.
MENTORING – Our more experienced couples & families pull from wisdom and life experience to mentor young couples & families to help strengthen marriages and raise Godly children in the Lord.
PRAYER – We spend regular time lifting up the needs of people before the Lord to rely on Him. We place emphasis on both physical needs and spiritual needs knowing that God listens to the hearts of His children.
SERVICE – We look for avenues to minister to those in our community to represent Jesus to them. It is by serving their needs that we are able to connect on a personal level to show others that we care.
ACCOUNTABILITY – We help each other grow in our walk with Jesus. We discourage laziness and spiritual apathy, while encouraging involvement and spiritual improvement. Our goal is to help our families reach Heaven.
LOST PEOPLE – We desire all those in our sphere of influence to come into a saving relationship with Jesus. It’s easy to get lost in this world, and we strive to help people find themselves in Jesus, helping them discover the blessings he provides.
Communion – It’s important for the Body of Christ to remember our Lord and the ultimate sacrifice he made for us. Every week we come together as brothers and sisters to bring our focus back on the most pivotal event in human history…the death of Christ, but with the eternal hope of his resurrection.
